Founded by Meaghan Baxter, a mom of two and debut picture‑book author, this isn’t just a publishing imprint. It’s a cozy, creative corner where meaningful stories are crafted with purpose and passion.
Our first title, My Mama Moves Different, reflects Meaghan’s mission: to uplift families, celebrate different abilities, and honor the powerful bond between parent and child. Inspired by her late mother, Michelle, who lived with multiple sclerosis, this story marks the beginning of what Baxter Book House hopes will be a growing library of beautifully told and illustrated books.
